BASIC DISHWASHER MAINTENANCE :
- One of the best ways to keep your dishwasher in very good shape is using good quality dishwasher detergent.
- If you experiencing problems with hard water deposits in your dishwasher you can use small amount of white vinegar for cleaning. Put small glass bowl upright in the upper rack and fill it up with 2 or 3 cups of vinegar. Run it on normal cycle. DO NOT USE DISHWASHER SOAP- JUST VINEGAR. Once a month treatment should be sufficient to keep your dishwasher healthy for many years.
- DO NOT WASH YOUR DISHES BEFORE - just rinse leftover food using dedicated brush or a sponge. DO NOT use the same sponge you using with regular dish soap. You can accidentally transfer soap residue in to the dishwasher which is extremely foaming.
- Every 6 months clean air gap on the top of the sink .
